An estimate and an invoice are the same document
Accepting a quote does not copy it into a new invoice — it keeps the same record, so the price you quoted and the price you billed are provably the same thing. Contracts get signed on a page with no login, and the terms lock the moment they go out.
Photographs on the line they belong to
"Replaced corroded stop valve — $340" is a claim. The photograph of the valve is the argument for it, and it is the difference between an invoice that gets queried and one that gets paid.
The money goes to you
Payments run through your own Stripe account, so they land where your money already lands. Send a pay link and they pay by card without an account; take a check instead and you record it by hand.

No surprises
