What this looks like when you don't have it
- →The last week of every month making twelve invoices.
- →One customer quietly not billed since August.
- →Chasing the same people for the same amount, forever.
A schedule that does not drift
Each date is worked out from the day the plan started rather than from the last invoice, so a plan beginning on the 31st does not slide to the 28th in February and stay there for the rest of its life. It bills in your timezone, not the server's.
A card on file, with the authorization on record
The full wording is above the button on the customer's own page, and it is recorded with their address before they are ever sent to Stripe. The card itself lives with Stripe; we keep a brand and four digits.
An invoice, a reminder, a second reminder, and a conversation you did not want to have.
Charged on the day, with a record of exactly what they agreed to and when.
Declines handled like a person would
An expired card and a stolen one are different problems, and retrying the second is pointless and looks bad on your merchant account. Retries are scheduled rather than hammered, and when they run out the plan pauses itself and emails you.
Works with
It reads your Google listing and your own pages and tells you what is missing. No account, and nothing is stored about you.
No surprises
- —Cards only. There is no direct debit or bank transfer on automatic billing — you can record one by hand, but nothing pulls it.
- —There is no usage-based or metered billing. Plans bill a set list of lines on a set schedule.
